Angela and Christian’s summer, chic, fairytale, California wedding at Park Winters was the most beautiful and dreamy day.

Event Spaces at Park Winters
Angela and her bridesmaids prepared in the Fountain Room, while Christian and his groomsmen used the Tower Suite. The bridesmaids wore matching blush satin pajamas and enjoyed champagne. Angela donned a modern, chic wedding dress with her mother’s help. She then had a first look with her bridesmaids, followed by her father. Meanwhile, the groomsmen relaxed in the pool before getting dressed. One of the benefits of a summer wedding at Park Winters is the opportunity to cool off with a dip in the pool.
Angela and Christian shared a private first look and exchanged vows in front of the tree-lined door by the swimming pool. The shade offered relief from the heat and provided perfect lighting for photography. After capturing quick portraits, we moved on to bridal party photos. We then tucked everyone away as guests started arriving for the ceremony.
The ceremony began on the ceremony lawn, where Angela and Christian introduced a “social media minute.” This unique feature allowed guests to freely take pictures and videos. One guest even took a selfie with the couple at the front of the aisle. Then, the officiant asked everyone to put away their cellphones for an unplugged ceremony, encouraging guests to be fully present.
Angela and Christian tied the knot on a very warm September day, with temperatures higher than average. Due to the harsh summer heat, it is advisable to plan weddings at Park Winters in the spring or late fall. Nevertheless, the day was beautiful, and the sunken garden portraits turned out priceless. To escape the heat, we took solo and couple portraits in the Inn whenever possible.
The newlyweds chose the vintage white barn for their reception. Embracing a rustic feel, they opted for a minimalist decor but splurged on the food. Park Winters, known for its award-winning chefs and professional staff, excels in culinary experiences. Their beautiful wedding cake, adorned with elegant and delicate edible flowers from Palette Cakes, added a touch of sophistication. Palette Cakes recently opened a storefront in Carmichael, CA. As a delightful perk, Park Winters offers complimentary cake cutting. After the festivities, the night ended with a send-off lined with light wands in front of the historic inn, capturing stunning photographs.
