The city of trees and the state’s capitol, Sacramento is a prime location for Central and Northern California weddings. Two hours each way from San Francisco and Lake Tahoe, Sacramento offers a variety of stunning wedding venues that wont break the bank and that are ideal for couples dreaming of their perfect day. With neighboring counties like Napa Valley, don’t knock-off Sacramento if you are looking for vineyard or winery venues.
Here is a list of twelve Sacramento Wedding Venues to look at during your search. Whether you’re planning an Italian inspired garden wedding or a summer chic wedding. Or if you are having a modern ranch wedding there are options on this list for you.
First on our list is Black Oak Mountain Vineyards. Black Oak Estate offers a luxurious wedding experience on a private 150-acre organic vineyard. This exclusive venue boasts stunning views of the Sierras and vineyards, with multiple ceremony spaces to choose from. The property includes overnight accommodations for over 20 guests in a spacious villa, a saltwater pool, and a hot tub. Maintaining eco-friendly, sustainable practices, Black Oak Estate provides couples with flexible vendor options and a BYOB policy with no corkage fees. Conveniently located just an hour from Sacramento and two hours from San Francisco, Black Oak Estate combines natural beauty, luxury amenities, and environmental consciousness to create an unforgettable celebration, solidifying its reputation as one of the coolest wedding venues.
Second on our list is Park Winters. Okay, so technically this isn’t in Sacramento but it is a beautiful destination only a hour away. It has a beautiful historic house and tower suit perfect for separate getting ready spaces. The beautiful sunken gardens are perfect for sunset portraits. There are multiple spots to choose for your ceremony and reception, but in case of rain there is an option for an indoor ballroom as well. Perfect for couples looking for a floral, chic, or Italian inspired garden party. But dress it up anyway you love!

Third on the list is Lakeview Estates and Winery. One of the newer Sacramento wedding venues, Lakeview Estates offers lush garden lawns, beautiful rose bushes and of course a lake front landscape. With two options for ceremony – on the lawn or the patio you’ll have the perfect backdrop. Likewise, you can opt for an outdoor reception set-up or inside their beautiful white, tent with chandelier tent. The perfect blank-slate venue to work with your dream vendors to make your dream wedding day come to life.

The owners are delightful and have impeccable taste to say the least.

Next we have Grand Island Mansion – grand is an understatement. It is the largest private estate in Northern California. Thinking Bridgerton vibes? This venue is it. The grounds are sure to enchant your guests. From the grandeur and vintage mansion, to the fountains and ceremony columns. Have the reception inside the Mansion dinning rooms or opt to have it on the Marquee – an indoor white sheer curtains and chandelier room for up to 400 guest capacity . The Mediterranean inspired patio will transport you to Europe instantly. The staff and the coordinator are exceptional and you will certainly receive top-tier service.

The bridal suite and grooms den are perfect for on-site getting ready spaces.
Sixth on the list is Monte Verde Inn. Nestled in the mountains of Foresthill 40 minutes outside of Sacramento. A beautiful historical home with vineyards and lawns for ceremony or reception. The house and fountain provides a beautiful backdrop for portraits. Ask them about their all inclusive packages.
Also nestled in the Sierra Nevada Foothills Gold Hill Gardens is the perfect place to host your special event. The tented reception area is perfect for an indoor/outdoor, rainproof space. Take portraits in multiple spots across the venue and have cocktail hour by the pool. The garden oasis and a grand oak tree is a perfect backdrop for your ceremony.
