This European yet modern inspired castle boasts stunning architecture with its white stone facade, grand arches, and expansive windows that flood the interior with natural light. Popular spots for ceremonies include the grand staircase, the large entrance door with the castle as a backdrop, and the charming fireplace.

The venue spans over four acres of exquisite landscape, featuring a grand, gold-decorated entrance and a breathtaking waterfront. The double-story interiors with large windows create a bright and airy atmosphere, perfect for any celebration. My favorite area is the courtyard, equipped with a swimming pool, ideal for a cocktail hour. White Swan Castle accommodates various wedding sizes and provides a breathtaking backdrop among Sacramento wedding venues.

Three Unique Looks at White Swan Castle

Indoor Elegance

The styled shoot at White Swan Castle showcased the venue’s versatility and grandeur through two different themes and setups. The first couple’s session was set indoors, featuring an elegant tablescape adorned with a mix of fruit, asparagus, and greenery. This setting was complemented by vintage plates and glassware, creating a sophisticated and lush atmosphere. The indoor ceremony at the castle featured a stunning floral arrangement (by Asteria Florals) by the fireplace. The elegant, minimalist setup perfectly complemented the venue’s grand architecture. Their fashion highlighted the bright and airy interiors, with the bride in a romantic, ruffled gown and the groom in classic black.

An Outdoor Soiree

The second setup took place outdoors, highlighting a modern chic design. The ceremony setup in front of the White Swan Castle featured stunning floral arrangements. Elegant white flowers adorned the entrance, enhancing the venue’s regal ambiance. This tablescape was more minimalist, with white floral arrangements and clean lines. The contrast between the indoor vintage aesthetic and the outdoor contemporary theme demonstrated the castle’s ability to accommodate various styles and preferences. The grand architecture and scenic backdrops provided by White Swan Castle made each setting unique and visually stunning, making it a top choice among Sacramento wedding venues.

We selected fashion for the second couple to match the castle’s grandeur. The bride wore a satin gown with intricate lace details and a simple, elegant veil. The groom donned a classic black tuxedo, creating a timeless look. They posed at the grand staircase and the castle’s entrance. Each location showcased the venue’s picturesque spots beautifully.

This editorial shoot by the pool and bar setup exudes vibrant elegance. The stunning bar display featured elegant glasses adorned with delicate flower petals. The cake, with its intricate design and striking white bows, was a showstopper. The model, dressed in a chic white dress with a bold red veil and gloves, perfectly complemented the sophisticated setup. Each element, from the glassware to the decor, enhanced the luxurious atmosphere, creating a cohesive and visually captivating scene. The attention to detail in every aspect made this shoot truly unforgettable.

Using a combination of Fuji and Portra 400 on both 35mm and medium format cameras, the straight-out-of-camera color grading is rich and authentic. The Nikon F3 and Fuji GA645 bring out the castle’s grandeur and intricate details with a dreamy, classic feel. This blend of film stocks and formats highlights the venue’s elegance, offering a unique, organic look that transports viewers back to a bygone era.
